Fourteen Marin Scuba Club members and friends enjoyed 10 days diving at The Splash Inn from October 25 – November 5.
Barb Wambach reports: “All had a great time and both Ric Miller and I shared videos of the Roatan trip at our Holiday Party.”

“Most noteworthy diving was the collaborative hunting between large grouper and large moray eel. National Geographic documented this earlier this year in Roatan. It’s not new news, but it was very new to Marin Scuba Club.
“Water temps were consistently 86 degrees at all depths—very hot. We saw coral bleaching everywhere, but fortunately mostly contained to the tips of most corals. We hope the ocean cools this winter and the corals revive.
“On the fun side, we celebrated Mark Judson and Sean O’Day’s birthdays a couple times, plus Kerwin’s fun trick balancing two forks on a wine bottle with two toothpicks.
“We also had fun celebrating Halloween with costumes above and below water. You are never too old to be young! The fish were abundant and healthy especially near the East and West Wall.”
