After surviving a tropical typhoon in July, our August 12th meeting featured Steve Wolborsky via Zoom from Guam. He shared what he has learned on his journey from still photography to underwater videography.
He demystified key elements of complex video jargon and technology, offered suggestions on equipment photographers may want to buy to improve their videos, and discussed some ideas about video creation.

Steve Wolborsky has lived in the US territory of Guam since 2004. A retired member of both the US Air Force and civil service, Steve learned to dive shortly after arriving on Guam. Nearly 4,000 dives and numerous dive trips later, he is passionate about the ocean, diving, and all things underwater photography.
Steve and his wife MJ both shoot stills with the Nikon D850, and Steve does most of his video work with the Panasonic GH5S. They both especially enjoy macro/supermacro. Their favorite locations for the small stuff are Lembeh, Anilao, Dauin, Puerto Galera and, of course, Guam. For their big animal fix, they particularly enjoy visiting Palau, which is less than a two-hour flight from Guam.
