Ken Carter reserved beach campsite #142 at DL Bliss State Park in Tahoe. He planned to arrive Friday, Sept. 11 and depart Sunday, September 13.
He dove the Rubicon Wall from the beach on Saturday morning and asked divers to arrive at least 6 hours before diving and remain at least 6 hours after diving. An altitude certification was strongly recommended. Hiking and biking were also on the weekend agenda.
New member Joe Bertain said, “Let’s face it… not much going on underwater in Lake Tahoe other than cool landscapes and fallen Millenium Falcon spaceships.

“But it was still a great Nitrox/altitude dive for me with Ken at the helm. Although he disclaims responsibility upfront by saying, “I’m not your Divemaster, so good luck, chap!”
“LOL, it was serious fun. I’d do it again.”
